Unlike cookies, localstorage doesn't expire automatically, but you can manage or delete it through your browser settings.

One exception: a single, essential session cookie is set when you sign in or unlock a verified-access page (see below). It holds no personal data — only a random session identifier — and is removed when you close your browser or sign out.

Verified-access pages

A few pages ask you to confirm your email address before you can view them. When you do this:

• You enter your email address and tick a box to confirm you agree to share it.
• We email you a one-time code, valid for about 10 minutes, which you enter to unlock the page for that browser session only.

Once you've verified your email during a browser session, any other verified-access page will only ask you to agree again — not to enter a new code. Each page is unlocked and recorded separately.

We store, and are open about collecting: your email address, the fact that you consented (and which version of this wording you agreed to), and the date and time of each visit you confirm. We do not store your IP address or browser (user-agent) for this feature. The one-time codes are stored only as a hash, are single-use, and expire.

We use this only to control access to those specific pages. You can ask us to delete this data at any time using the contact details below.
